Overview of Workshop
This is an interactive workshop in which the participants learn about massage for people with special needs. The workshop consists of lecture, hands-on demonstrations, role-playing designed to assess diagnoses and determine treatment methods, and questions and answers that encourage discussions.

Participants will be provided handout materials, including slides used during the class. In addition, they will be provided printed information that will assist them in promoting massage for people with special needs in their geographic area. Participants will complete a short quiz at the end of the course to assess what they have learned from the workshop.

This workshop is usually provided through a school of massage, AMTA chapters, or at a facility that has been set up to include massage tables.
